What does USDA Certified Organic Mean?
Learn more about Organic Living

 DID YOU KNOW?

That when you purchase any 1 product bearing the USDA Organic Seal, you are captivating the most safest & highest of quality of ingredients in the world. The quality is so high that you can even eat or consume the products formula (substance) inside. You absolutely can not eat just any skin care product. As you well know, you will be endangering your life. Researchers and consumers are now realizing that what these synthetic & chemical ingredients do inside your body(cause cancer, birth defects, tumors) is stilling taking place on a small scale.

 How?

Skincare & Personal Care products were never intended to go inside the human body, yet  recently they have found that what goes on your body goes in your skin (skin is your bodies largest organ) and goes directly into your blood and vital organs. So even though you are not willing to eat any skincare product in general...In reality your skin cells have been absorbing all of these toxins and chemicals whether you like it or not. And Every time someone learns about this fact, a new family  is committed to True Organic skin care products. And they  strive to find the safest & healthiest products because nobody knows exactly where cancer & autism(for example) has been coming from. Bravo New Family!!

do you believe that chemicals can absorb into the skin? The birth control patch is applied on the skin close to the ovaries and for a whole month it will slowly release hormones that absorb into the skin and keeps the eggs from dropping for pregnancy not to take place.  The nicotine patch is placed on the skin and also releases chemicals that are absorbed into the skin to stop the cravings for cigarettes.  Obviously chemicals can absorb into the skin.

Understand the difference:

Are you thinking,"BIG DEAL USDA CERTIFIED!!" The big deal is the difference! To illustrate: If  I had two bottles of milk or two glasses of juice... and I put just one drop of poison or (chemical) in one of the bottles or glasses. Which one would you feed your precious baby or drink yourself ... So why would you ever, even buy a skin care product that contains even a drop of chemical in it ! When today Natures Paradise has developed a revolutionary new skincare line containing not even a spec of chemical in it.

Using Organic products saves both our children and our environment from harsh chemicals which can cause much damage. These chemicals stay in our body and in the soil for years, causing cancer, illness, sensitivity to our body and damaging the earth causing pollution which in turn also effects us on a daily basis. PLEASE help us make the change and go green and save our Children and our Environment !!!

How to Identify True Organic Products

BE AWARE!!! A label which has the ORGANIC statement does NOT mean a product is truly ORGANIC! You will find that other products on the market who claim to be either organic or all natural  will have a combination of organic ingredients mixed with chemical ingredients. Federal law loopholes are becoming known and these fraudulent companies are taking advantage of these loopholes in labeling themselves Organic.

The USDA has very strict regulations for production, processing and record keeping. These regulations make it hard for companies to qualify for Certification. Since the regulations are very strict and regularly inspected, some companies have decided to skip the certification and label their products "Organic" or even "Certified Organic". Some ways you can tell whether a product is truly certified is by The USDA Organic Seal and by  looking on the back under the companies information and see whether they have a statement such as "Certified Organic by *****agency" The certifying Agency must ALWAYS be printed on the back according to regulations. So if a claiming product does not have a certifiers name, then this product has NOT been certified or inspected by the USDA.

Other skin care brands on the market  claim to be either all Natural or Organic. Some of these claims are true to a degree. All in all, these brands are still better then the larger leading companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Huggies, Pampers, Baby Magic and Aveeno. These larger companies smother your baby with chemicals. They are less expensive, but your paying with your babies health.

All Natural products that you may find can really be, made with all natural ingredients, which is great! But, what they don't tell you is that although the company did not add any chemicals to the products, chemicals are still present. The difference between Organic and All Natural is the way the ingredients are grown. Organic Ingredients are grown on pure uncontaminated soil without the use of pesticides. All Natural ingredients are grown on contaminated soil and is sprayed with pesticides. The contaminations in the soil and the pesticides absorb into the food or plant and can't be removed. So although an All Natural product did not have any additional chemicals added to it and  it doesn't show on the ingredient panel, it still has the pesticides from where it was grown and therefore can cause damage and irritation to the skin.

Unless other brands bare the USDA Organic seal, they were not grown according to the National Organic Program. This, meaning that their ingredients were indeed grown with pesticides and have the risks of dangerous chemicals that can enter the body and bloodstream of your precious baby.

Look for the USDA logo, if you don't see it, be cautious. Look for the certifiers name on the back of the product under the manufactures name. If you don't see a certifiers name then that product is NOT Organic !

What is the risk of these chemicals?

These facts were brought to you by "Campaign for Safe Cosmetics"

The facts are compelling:

  • A study by one of the founding members of Campaign for Safe Cosmetics revealed that one third of cosmetic products on the market contain chemicals that are linked to cancer.

  • Of the more than 10,000 chemical ingredients in personal care products, 89% have not undergone safety testing.

  • On average, American women use 12 personal care products a day, and men average six products daily. That means an adult is likely to be exposed DAILY to 126 unique chemical ingredients in personal care products alone.

  • We know that the skin is not a solid barrier – it's a penetrable organ that can easily absorb chemicals, especially with repeat exposure. Derman absorption is commonly used to transmit chemicals to the bloodstream, notably with nicotine and birth control patches.

  • Toxic chemicals find their way into our bodies, our breast milk and our children. And diseases linked to synthetic chemicals – including breast cancer, testicular cancer and reproductive problems – are on the rise.

To better understand the ingredients inside the products you buy visit this link and see what chemicals you have on your shelf www.cosmeticdatabase.com you will find a list of brand name products along with it's listed chemicals and side affects. Type in the chemical or ingredient in the search engine of this link and find out what it really is.

Although this study is based on food that is produced with pesticides it still applies to skin care products, since most products are made from fruits, vegetables and nuts containing the same pesticides and risks.
